My interest in watercolours starts at the ocean. The way that the light plays on the water, sometimes casting deep shadows and intense hues and other times, lightly playing off the curve of a shallow rock pool, privides me with my inspiration.
That being said, I am not limited to the medium of watercolours nor is the ocean my only muse. The vineyards of South Australian, portraits of children and abstracted illustrations also complete my collection of work.
I first exhibited in 2007 after completing my Bachelor in Education which included a collection of child portraits created to demonstrate the ethnic diversity of humanityand the highlight the language of innocence.
Since this time most work has been displayed in local cafes or completed for private sale. |
