ARTIST NOTES: On one of my trips to Winton in Queensland I visited the plateau & escarpment overlooking Carisbrooke Station. My painting is the Dragon's Back at the escarpment with the vast plain of the Station stretching away in the distance. With the sun at the right angle the colours were mesmerising giving me a challenge to create a painting worthy of the area.
