Small Business Owner - Zinia King Illustration and DesignJune 2014 - Present

 

  • Retail - I reproduce my art in the form of prints, greeting cards, bookmarks, colouring books, etc. and sell them at design markets. My work also retails at various shops including the Hahndorf Academy and Urban Cow.
  • Commissions - I regularly complete commissions for small business and individuals including pet portraits, album covers, children’s books, food labels and logos.
  • Children’s Books - I have produced 5 published children’s books. 3 self-published, 1 published by Maxine Miller Productions and 1 published by Pegasus Elliot Mackenzie Publishers.
  • Graphic Design - Freelance Graphic Design work for Murray Books between December 2015 and January 2016.

 

 

TeachingFebruary 2016 - Present

 

  • Artytypes Art Classes - Casual work for Rebecca Prince relief-teaching Adult and Child art classes.
  • Private -  Privately teaching art with children in their own homes.
  • Workshops - Have run several workshops in various venues during School Holidays.
  • Hahndorf Winter Lantern Festival - Assisting with workshops for the Hahndorf Winter Lantern Festival 2016.
  • Carclew - Explore Arts Summer 2016-17 program assistant. Volunteer work in the Kids Zone at WOMAD 2017. 

 

 

Volunteer Work

 

  • Adelaide Hills Youth Advisory Committee- From December 2014 to now I have volunteered with the Adelaide Hills YAC. Through this I have produced many posters, logos and am currently organising an exhibition at the Lobethal Woolen Mills for National Youth Week in April 2017.
  • Hahndorf Academy - Casual work assisting serving wine at exhibition openings and working in the gallery shop.
